The story
Alex Levy is the star co-anchor of a popular network breakfast programme, until her on-air partner of 15 years is fired over sexual misconduct. Fighting to keep her own job, she is paired with Bradley Jackson, an impulsive field reporter, as the network scrambles to contain the fallout. Later seasons follow the newsroom through the pandemic, mergers and the political upheavals of recent years.

The Morning Show arrived as Apple's streaming service launched in November 2019, a star-driven flagship led by Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon with a reported cost of $15 million an episode. It became one of the service's most-watched series and earned Billy Crudup two Emmys.
