The story
The five Garvey sisters of Dublin are fiercely loyal to one another, and united in loathing Grace's controlling husband, John Paul. When he dies unexpectedly, two half-brothers at the firm holding his life insurance policy start to suspect foul play. Flipping between the sisters' increasingly farcical plotting and the investigation that follows, the show blends pitch-black comedy with real tenderness.
