The story
Seventeen-year-old Mark Grayson has grown up as the son of Omni-Man, the most powerful superhero on the planet. When his own powers finally kick in, he starts training as the hero Invincible, juggling school, friendships and family life with brutal fights against alien and earthly threats – all while slowly discovering that his father's heroic image hides more than he ever imagined.
Why it matters
Robert Kirkman adapted his own Image comic as an adult animated drama, choosing traditional hand-drawn animation, and the result became a long-running Prime Video franchise. Its 'Think, Mark' scene became an internet meme, and renewals now stretch to a sixth season – evidence that adult animation can carry serious superhero storytelling.
